In Deux ou trois feux, Élise Turcotte presents two poetic suites in prose entitled Nulle part and Un siècle de nuits. Love, death, sadness, silence, the passage of time, and war are some of the evocative themes of this writer's poetic universe, which draw us into a world replete with solitude and feelings of love. Jocelyne Alloucherie's work speaks of the precarious nature of the world around us, the possible flaw in all things. Although they do not provide a specific narrative, these delicately coloured, sober images evoke a kind of fiction, which generates a multitude of meanings.
